Island City Aero Club Flight Training Scholarship Program
Island City Aero Club awards one $1000.00 flight training scholarship per year. It is often awarded in conjunction with a $1000.00 flight training scholarship from Chapter 631 of the EAA for a total award of $2000.00
Applications are now being accepted for a scholarship award. Each year the deadline to apply is March 30. Any applications received after March 30 will be considered along with all applications received up until the next March 30.
An award winner will be chosen from applicants of the same year, only one flight training scholarship is awarded per year.
If chosen as the award recipient you will receive either $1000.00 from the Island City Aero Club or that amount plus $1000.00 from the EAA chapter 631 for a total of $2000.00. The money is paid to the recipient after obtaining a private pilot license.
